Senior Writer
General Description:
Plays a leadership role in the generation, development, and execution of copy for a wide variety of creative material. Encourages the development of other GLG creative talent and stays abreast of industry trends.
Essential Functions:
- Develops concepts and fulfils full scope of writing needs for the largest and/or highest impact corporate identity projects, Web sites, interactive presentations, online ads, print ad / print collateral, and scripts.
- Provides creative input that supports the strategic direction of various client projects.
- Collaborates with project managers, developers, and designers to complete final product.
Knowledge Requirements (Education/Experience):
At least 5 years of experience as a copywriter or equivalent.
Job Skills:
- Portfolio depicting outstanding work in a variety of formats.
- Comprehensive understanding of B2B, high-tech, and consumer markets.
- Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and work positively within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job Scope:
At this level, individuals are expected to provide significant input into the direction of creative projects and may provide guidance to other members of the team.
Work at this level requires extensive, progressively responsible experience with focus on conceiving and executing complex marketing initiatives.
