GLG Wins Gold at the ADDYs

SEATTLE – The Garrigan Lyman Group (GLG) has won a 2020 Gold ADDY Award for outstanding work on behalf of MOD Pizza. The American Advertising Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting nearly 35,000 entries every year in local AAF competitions. And as you might expect, it doesn’t get much better than gold.

GLG won its Gold ADDY in the Sales & Marketing – Collateral Material – Publication Design category. The Book of MOD was written and designed for employees (aka the MOD Squad) as a way to connect with the story of who MOD is, how it came to be, and how each MOD Squadder can uncover their own inspiration and tap into their own abilities to make a positive impact in the world.

Artwork includes hand-drawn illustrations, photographic collages and graphics, iconography, and graffiti — intentionally disparate media that hang together under the MOD umbrella of self-expression.

MOD celebrates a spirit of individuality, teamwork and service, and you can see it in the book’s design.

“We are a people-focused, purpose-driven brand, and GLG has worked hard to embrace our values to help bring them to life with their work,” said MOD Co-founder Ally Svenson. “This has resulted in a special and impactful partnership.”

Gold ADDY winners advance to district shows with the hope of national and international recognition.
