GLG doubles the Gold with two 2019 Davey Awards

SEATTLE – The Garrigan Lyman Group (GLG) has captured two 2019 Gold Davey Awards for outstanding work on behalf of agency clients. Established in 2009, the International Davey Awards is the largest and most prestigious awards competition exclusively for smaller marketing and advertising agencies. Davey Awards categories include Gold, Silver, and Best in Show.

MOD Pizza: "Isaac" Campaign

GLG won a Gold Davey Award in the Integrated Campaign-Cause Marketing category for creative work for MOD Pizza. The “Isaac” campaign featured video, web, and collateral pieces that supported teen suicide prevention.

“Sometimes the right thing to do is the hardest,” said GLG Creative Director Kurt Reifschneider. “When Isaac Pedley, a regular MOD customer, died by suicide, it felt like it was our duty, along with an enlightened client, to tell his story with honesty and sensitivity. And if we could draw attention and resources to teen suicide prevention, so much the better.”

American Seafoods: Website

GLG captured its second 2019 Gold Davey Award in the Websites-Food & Beverage category for a new website built for Seattle, Washington–based American Seafoods.

“The new website for American Seafoods gave the industry-leading seafood harvester a modern platform to push its message out to a worldwide audience,” said GLG Executive Creative Director Kalie Kimball-Malone. “But what really makes the website stand out is its bold conceptual approach to what has become a really impressive story.”

With customers around the globe, American Seafoods is the world’s largest at-sea processor of Wild Alaska Pollock.
