The Race to Connect 15,000 Idaho Students

At a time when online learning is the new normal, as many as 15,000 students in Idaho are without laptops. Worse, a connectivity gap has left many of those same students with no means to get online to download their lessons.

Ron Gramer, president and CEO of Idaho Business for Education, is on a mission to get the laptops and close the gap.

I caught up with Rod to see how he is rallying Idaho school districts, internet providers, the business community, and civic groups into a statewide effort to collect and distribute laptops and connect each student before the school year is out.
